Pros

I have loved working at Aprio, it was exactly what I was looking for. As someone that does enjoy public accounting, but wants to have a personal life Aprio has been the perfect fit. The firm believes in recognizing accomplishments, encourages employees to stay active, understands that life happens, and they're more concerned about the employees than getting the work done. I love that going to the office is optional, instead of required/encouraged, working from home has been a great experience.

Cons

From discussions with peers, it seems like not all offices work the same. Some are drowning with work with little help, it may be due to them being new mergers, but I think there should be more support on that end.

Great Onboarding

Pros

Best onboarding experience I have ever had. The tech I needed was sent to me quickly, programs were already installed and specific trainings for the tech was done within the first week. Remote set up training, three monitors, no need to put in tons of tickets to get access to the program I need. Managers are technically strong and I am learning a lot. Colleagues have been respectful and offered constructive criticism directly. Unlimited DTO actually gets approved without issue. Week off for July 4th and Thanksgiving. Check ins on work to make sure not overwhelmed.

Cons

Not very diverse. I don't enjoy using Teams but it is what it is. They are rapidly merging with a lot of smaller firms but they need to streamline processes so all offices are on the same page. They should speed up the client onboarding process.

Thank you for the comments. We are working towards streamlining our processes and recognize that there is room for improvement there. As far as your the comment about not much diversity, Aprio has been recognized for our diverse workforce.
