Pros

- Growth. Hiring people at fast pace. India Office running short of space now they are getting more space (1.5 times the space planned). Sales register keep ringing. - Systematic approach- Top management plans things in systematic way. Lot of analysis is done for decisions. - Learning: Very good learning opportunities across the board. Pluralsight and other online resources for training provided. - Challenging work: Quality work required at fast pace. Lot of automation emphasis for QA. Expectations are high.

Cons

Time Pressure: Sometimes the time pressure to achieve things can become too high. Salary: Salary not high compared to best in industry however recently promising high growth.

Pros

Lots of chics recruited nowadays in Bangalore as a result of company's policy to let kids run the company to save cost :)

Cons

-No proper career development options for employees. Needless to mention no periodic training. If DOS was still available we would be still in it. -Employees are treated like commodities. The cheapest one even if its an electrically operated dummy stays in the company. Frequent firing and totally incapable managers who climbed up the ladder through pure manupilation. -No transparency from management. -Swift changes with drastic results and too much stupid experimentation like Nazi camps with processes without first identifying the product business and its customer requirements. -Compensation way too low than market standards. -Completely demotivating work environment. -No open door policy. Managers act like a wall and the company has no process for a 360 deg. evaluation. -All metrics/audit numbers are dummy and very unstable. The core CRM used for calculating the numbers is still unstable with no effort to fix the issues in it. As a result performance evaluation is mostly manupilated and to the benefit of managers who know how to manupilate it to their benefit.

Pros

For me Aptean was a "foot in the door" into the Tech/Software industry that has proved fruitful thus far. I came to the company just over a year ago, with little to no practical experience in the field, needing a change in scenery and that's exactly what I got. I've always been a hobbyist in the Tech space and this change has allowed me to grow that into a rewarding career path, as I've just accepted my third promotion in my short time here.

Cons

Being the "love-child" of a merger between two similarly aligned software companies has had it's fair share of kinks that needed working out. The compensation seems to be slightly below industry average. Finally, the communication of the "direction" of Aptean's future has been lackluster, at best.
