Pros

Benefits and pay was market standard.

Cons

No communication between management, upper management. It was a complete joke. Areamark's upper managment found a way to get rid of employee's that actually new the business. They've hired people from outside the industry that doesn't have a clue about the core business

Pros

You'll be able to pay your bills until they fire you.

Cons

Culture, work/life balance, rate of pay, increases are nonexistent, the CEO is a tool and so is most of upper management. If you want to work for the stereotypical corporation where they pretend to care about you while slowly eating away at your benefits, employee match, annual increases, etc. Then ARAMARK might be the place for you.

Pros

Good salary for the food service business, lots of locations around the country.

Cons

Excessive amounts of hours worked per day/week with no incentive, lack of appreciation, poor salary/hourly employee treatment, will sacrifice employee welfare to save bottom line dollars.
