Pros

The salary and the bonus structure is pretty good and they give you a car and pay for your gas.

Cons

Upper mgmt expects 12-14 hrs everyday. Struggle do get product for customers with little or no help from mgmt. Expectations are most often unattainable. No regard to family life mgmt feels that it is secondary to the job.

Pros

I was originally hired with Aramark Aviation Services and the unit that I worked for was amazing! Great Quality of Life, Great Opportunities, Great Interaction with Senior Management. Aramark decided to pull out of the Aviation industry and I was offered a position in our Business and Logistics division running a warehouse for our Amtrak account. It is complete chaos, aboslutely no communication, management required to work 6 days beacuse of short staff with absolutely no COMP Time compensation. You will be scheduled to come in for your assigned shift lets say from 12-9pm and then you are told you need to work your shift and come back at 4am to open up the warehouse. It is rediculous. Absolutely no communication between senior management and mid management. It is horrible.

Pros

the benefits are good for an hourly job

Cons

Once you are in corrections you can not transfer to other divisions. You will not get a raise. You probably won't last a year because they do not care about you at all. I was told not to apply anymore for a salaried Assistant food service director job because they had too many more qualified applicants. They are now in the process of unloading all the experienced employees that were hired by different management, because they make too much. anything over 14 an hour is too much. Do not work here! The only way out is to quit or get fired!!
