      Terrible company

      Pros

      Great benefits and solid sales training for an entry level sales job.

      Cons

      This is a very shady industry and Aramark does a terrible job of delivering on it's promises. You end up feeling like a used car salesman... They don't invest in their products and lock their customers into shady contracts that are nearly impossible to get out of. As with any sales job, you are only as good as your last sale and there is a tremendous amount of pressure to meet the ever increasing sales quota. Not to mention they recently cut everyones salary by 10%.

      Pros

      Monday-Friday work week. Made pretty decent money. You can advance with this company if you play the game.

      Cons

      Leadership/Vision is lacking (locally & nationally). Local leader was very poor. Some markets are better than others as the more successful market centers tended to have better local General Mgr.'s that would not always follow corporate directives (they could do this because they were bringing in the results year after year) and could make sound business decisions on their own that would benefit them/company at the local level. The company seemed to view the potential success of the company as only coming from the top - down which may work for some companies but certainly did not translate to success for this business.

      Pros

      Hours are consistent. Pay is okay. Medical coverage is okay.

      Cons

      Management reward bad performance. Hard worker get no respect. Wages are low. Management cuts corner for profit. Middle management tries really hard to stop the negativity. Very counter-productive.
