      job for housewives, don't get many hours

      Pros

      nice working enviroment, enjoy most co workers

      Cons

      $8 per hour, No regular raises, Worked there 3 years only got a quarter raise. No sinority, people come in and get head jobs after working 2 months, just because they like them. No brakes unless you work over 6 hours. I've been asked to do more than other employees but no raise or respect for doing it. We've been told we are a dime a dozen and completly replacable if you don't like what they are asking..quit.

      Pros

      ARAMARK paid well and came through with regular raises. They also had a fair Managment Evaluation system.

      Cons

      Once something goes wrong through no fault of the manager. It doesn't matter to upper managment. Rathe than back up their local manager, they fire them. The manager has no recourse to pled his case.

      Pros

      Location: directly over Market East train station; Reading Terminal Market next door. My direct supervisors and immediate colleagues were genuinely nice/good/hardworking people.

      Cons

      Minimal opportunities for professional or financial advancement; company went the 4 years I was there with minimum to no annual increases; no bonuses; few if any "perks"; corporate mentality didn't seem to treat admins well; I was often commended verbally for my work; but mever rewarded for going above and beyond; legal dept was antiquated (poor technology and even poorer implementation; the records room was a disaster under poor management; workspace environment downright dingy & dismal compared to other offices in corporate tower.
