Good pay, no work-life balance

Pros

The salary is equal to that of the other contract services companies in the industry. The training is robust, albeit all online. There are many opportunities for advancement.

Cons

Bonuses, not so much, as, despite the CEO announcing what a great year we had, bonuses were delayed, then not paid for last year. Also, work-life balance is not a consideration, at least in my region. The company says that it is, but the expectation is that you put ARAMARK first, no matter the personal costs. My direct manager expects 70 to 80 hours per week for salaried employees and time off is out of the question.

Pros

Got to work in a very prestigious private hospital and talked to nurses, dietitians, doctors, surgeons, etc. and gained good references for future jobs

Cons

Terrible management. They are truly terrible people. Avoid working for Aramark at Baylor Scott&White Medical Center-Grapevine at all costs. I'm not the only one that could possibly write this type of review unfortunately. If I could rate -5 stars I certainly would. Any and all 5 star reviews are fake or spam. I could go on and on for hours writing a complete novel about how awful management treats the employees but I have a life to live. All I'm doing is warning anyone that is thinking about working here. You will be worked to the bone and told you need to work HARDER HARDER HARDER and there is nothing you can do to please management. They just want to work you to exhaustion and then yell at you for being lazy. Terrible hours, terrible work, terrible pay. McDonald's pays almost the same as this and at least there you won't have to jog ten miles a day pushing patients on beds that weigh hundreds of pounds. -1000000/10 would recommend
