Pros

* Strong work life balance, with a generous amount of PTO days. People actually take it without guilt or friction. Management and colleagues are very respectful of PTO days. The tone is pretty consistent across the company, not just something that varies by department or manager. It's something you can genuinely count on. * Great opportunity for professional growth, with lots of opportunities to attain certificates and higher education with financial support from Arbella. The company has a clear track record of promoting from within. If you put in the work and make your ambitions known, there are legitimate opportunities to move into new roles and take on expanded responsibilities over time. * Opportunities for social impact through paid volunteering opportunities. Managers are supportive of employees stepping away for volunteering commitments, which makes participation feel like a genuine perk rather than something you have to negotiate for. Opportunities have included volunteering at a food pantry with Interfaith Social Services, walking a 5K to raise money for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and more. * Authentic DE&I culture with people from many different backgrounds represented at both the decision-making and entry levels. Perspectives from different backgrounds aren't just welcomed in meetings, they clearly influence how the company thinks and operates.

Cons

* Hybrid and remote options are available; however, if you are expected to be in the office, the traffic in the area is no secret. The office is located in Quincy, MA so for those living in the north shore of Boston and beyond, the bumper to bumper traffic through the city on your way in can be overwhelming during peak hours. * The office is located in a commercial corridor with lots of different businesses and offices. Outside of the in-building food court, restaurants and other dining options are not within walking distance, rather a short drive away.
