Pros

The employees, committment to community involvement- the most generous employees and company ever, CEO Cares. There are number of activities that employees can get involved in which is a great way to meet people. Its a nice culture

Cons

Employee Development is important to the company but because we are relatively small, there aren't always promotions. Other reviewers have complained about this but the average tenure of an employee is just over 10 years. No company is perfect but we try.

Evil management

Pros

Benefits/pay not bad. Coworkers are nice.

Cons

There are some evil managers at Arbella -- they talk freely and negatively about employees to other employees (thinking people don't talk among themselves?!) and are threatened by anyone who has the audacity to assert themselves. However, these same managers have somehow sucked up enough to apparently be in the good graces of senior management, because they are still there. Also, Arbella has a history of drumming out employees nearing retirement, no matter how many years of service. I'm not sure how they've managed to get away with that.

Pros

I LOVED working at Arbella and would have stayed there forever if I could have. The work environment was great, co-workers were a lot of fun, management were super nice. The day-to-day could get monotonous but if you brought it up to your manager they'd come up with ways to mix it up. Arbella is a very supportive company with great community outreach programs and charity drives. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone so long as you're able to make ends meet with your salary.

Cons

The ONLY reason I left, for real I'd have stayed forever if I could have, was the salary. $32,500.00 is barely a livable wage for someone with student loans, a car, an apartment, and any sort of hope to have a social life.
