      Stable and old-fashioned.....but that can be a con. See below.

      Cons

      Since it is a mutual company, the pressure to change and evolve is much diminished. That means that the power structures within the company are entrenched and even as the company slowly sinks into unprofitability and its systems age, change is slow as molasses.

      Pay is on the lower end of competitive. Many people have left for more money. Moving up can be a slow process depending on timing.

      Pros

      I'm so grateful to be a part of this company. I feel like part of a family and not just an employee. There is just a welcoming vibe. The leadership is excellent not just because they are brilliant but also because they prioritize the well-being of its employees. The employees are valued and feel supported through open communication, professional development, and a great work-life balance.

      Cons

      The hybrid work environment offers great flexibility and helps greatly with work-life balance, I feel it sometimes limits opportunities for company social events. While there are many events, the level of energy and camaraderie would be greater than it already is with more opportunities for social events.
