+ Very bright, motivated co-workers + Ability to advance to management roles quickly by going "above & beyond" entry level roles + Interesting technology work

Cons

- Entry levels start at a potentially competitive salary, but salary increases are capped and insufficient - Mentoring program, once strong, seems to have fallen by the wayside, and it's up to employees to seek out mentors. - Business/strategy consulting projects are few and far between; the focus is on technology implementations

A growing company, a changing company

Pros

Working at Arcadia provides a great deal of opportunity. Entry level consultants come from great schools and backgrounds, and much of the leadership team has been with the company since it's inception. There are very few deterrents to career growth, and aggressive new hires can find themselves with a great deal of responsibility quickly if they choose to take it on. The culture is young and open, and many of the consultants are friends outside of work.

Cons

Like many consulting firms, the side of Arcadia seen can vary from project to project. Depending on who your client partner or project manager is, you could have a even work life balance, or none at all. The openness of the culture permits much visibility into the executive level and affects the moral of the entire firm. When leadership is uncertain, the feeling pervades the entire company, as everyone quickly becomes aware of their uncertainty, from entry level on up. Finally, Arcadia is loosely structured; career paths are fairly non-existent. If you know where you want to go with your career, you may be able to get there, but those without a clear career path in mind won't advance.

Pros

- Management is good at communicating issues to the company and is open to feedback and suggestions - Entrepreneurial atmosphere where it is encouraged to take on self directed initiatives - Smart group of interesting people to work with

Cons

- Not a lot of cons to mention. Sometimes project work can become boring and you can be stuck in a specific role longer than desired.
