Pros

Salary, benefits and compensation. Vacation

Cons

Manager was out of touch with employees. Needed to be more hands on. In the past 3 years, had 7 engineers leave.

Pros

great money at base. No overtime needed to make over 60k. If you like dirty loud places this is it.

Cons

No work/life balance. You can make tons of money and is very easy. You sacrifice a life though. It was hard to have both and be totally happy.

Pros

Some ability to move to different positions in the company, lots of retirement-age employees so there is good room for advancement in the future as well as good resources for learning. Pretty laid-back atmosphere and nice people.

Cons

They often move people where they don't want to be moved and we end up losing some good talent because of it. Most equipment is very old and not maintained well. Working with the union is a hassle. Morale is pretty low. No raises and healthcare increased, so we actually got pay decreases with more responsibility. Management rarely holds people accountable, so a lot of things don't get done that should be.
