Once you are in, you are set if you like to stay. Good focus on personal life. No long hours.

Cons

Very vertical organization. Little opportunity to move up the chain. Management is a boy's club. Employees are out of date with technology skills.

expatriation are widely available but locations are uninteresting. Opportunism may work short term. Steel is a great industry. facinating senior management

Cons

poor corporate culture. lack of social responsibility or committment. poor remuneration and bullied to accept salary cuts. untrustworthy company. positive impression happens only if company benefit from employee.

Pros

Large company that could provide opportunites if individual was mobile and willing to tow the company line as well as play along with the political games.

Cons

ArcelorMittal has become too large and no longer sees employees as individuals, but as profit generators. Company is very prepoccupied with numbers and revenues on paper and is failing to see some strategies that are staring them in the face.
