Started decently, ended poorly

Pros

Interviewing/hiring process was fairly simple (one recruiter interview, one hiring manager interview followed by quick offer). Office environment was decent. Interactions with leads and managers was a toss up; some were helpful and personable. Company leadership seems determined to grow the company. Pay was good for me (but others seemed to not be happy.) Benefits are average/decent. Work schedule is Flex Time and very manageable. If you like a slower paced work environment, where you have time to learn and grow, then you will like it here. This is a good place for those new to the industry to start.

Cons

Many leads and managers are mired in working the mission and have little time for actually leading and mentoring. A lot of mid-level leadership can come off as a little cold and detached from the common employee. Favoritism does exist in some areas. Work can be very SLOW; if you want a dynamic, busy office, don't expect that here. Lastly, company has a very low tolerance for mistakes/slip-ups. Leaders will not always go to bat for you.

First year after divestiture was rough - but aggressive leadership is helping attack problems
