Pros

Great pay and benefits. NES employees get 100% 401k match up to 6%, 3% weekly pay for pension. A lot to learn working in quality, never have a dull moment.

Cons

Company wastes A LOT of money! Klaus needs to go and have somebody else take over the helm. On the floor we can see millions being wasted away in faulty programs, lazy workers and multiple reworks.

Pros

Under ALCOA, it was a great Company. ALCOA values employee safety and advancement opportunities. It was mighty and resourceful before the split.

Cons

Following the Company split, Arconic's leaders went south on moral judgement. Employees are no longer held in high regard (despite their claims to the contrary). Saving Klaus from Paul E Singer is top priority for its top management.

Pros

I guess I would say some of the people you work with are very nice, fun people.

Cons

The biggest issue is definitely the management and supervisors, there is very much of a me vs you attitude, you do not feel safe going to them with issues because they don't do anything about it. Presses are constantly down or having issues because they refuse to have them fixed properly. Saturdays are mandatory even though there is a set weekend shift. Also talk of making everyone work 7 days a week. Quality changes their minds day to day what is a good part and what's bad.
