Not a great place. Avoid.

Pros

They pay a lot for the area. The work is interesting.

Cons

Absolutely no work/life balance. Expect 80 hour work weeks, and long periods (7 to 10 days) of working 12 to 16 hours a day. Too many old grudges between tenured salary and union employees. Creates a hostile work environment for new employees who are also being overworked.

Pros

Some of the benefits are good.

Cons

Unsafe, and nepotic environment. Zero communication avenues between upper mgmt, middle mgmt, and floor work. Union is sub par with a lackadaisical President and worthless stewards. HR fails at every turn. Youll have to do your own enrollments, your own HR footwork, they will fail to send you proper paperwork and expect you to figure it all out. There is 0 process improvement or continuous improvement in place. All training is left up to your coworkers and some have only been at the company a year or less.
