Work you like a dog

Pros

The only pro is the pay

Cons

The way you’ll be treated by management is abusive. If you get injured and it isn’t your fault, they will fire you then refuse to give you unemployment even once the union determines you were wrongfully terminated and gives your job back. You will be left months with no pay and then they’ll lay off half the plant and refuse to pay out their unemployment too.

Pros

Used to be a great company under Alcoa

Cons

Keep you where you are if you are successful, and fill the upper levels with outside hires in the hope of they are successful.

Pros

Some of the benefits are good.

Cons

Unsafe, and nepotic environment. Zero communication avenues between upper mgmt, middle mgmt, and floor work. Union is sub par with a lackadaisical President and worthless stewards. HR fails at every turn. Youll have to do your own enrollments, your own HR footwork, they will fail to send you proper paperwork and expect you to figure it all out. There is 0 process improvement or continuous improvement in place. All training is left up to your coworkers and some have only been at the company a year or less.
