Great industry short on staff

Pros

The work done here is interesting, challenging and rewarding. The people care about the parts that they are producing and it shows. The company is large enough that there are opportunities to advance and also work and share ideas across campus as well as across business units. They believe in training their people and Arconic is a fantastic community advocate and citizen. They donate to local charities and strongly encourage and reward volunteer functions.

Cons

Work load constraints do not afford employees to really excel in their responsibilities. The phrase good at everything but great at nothing has become sort of a mantra due to this.

Pros

Solid pay, benefits are resonable, lots of capital investment in plant

Cons

No ability to move up in organization, bureaucratic nature of hierarchy, disconnect between upper management to Group Leader level resulting in poor decisions.
