Pros

Pay is the only pro

Cons

Forced up to 66 hours a week and the way the schedule is set up that can be 8-9 or even 10 days in a row of 12 hour shifts No life outside of work everyone who was married at their start is now divorced and you will also lose custody of your kids because of the hours If you're not white it's like you're walking on egg shells and there is always a target on your back. Had a co worker that was yelling and shouting about how he wanted to say the N word since its in music and another Co worker told him to go ahead and say it in front of management..he got upset walked out of the job and got 0 points for it...anyone else would've been fired on the spot..they tolerate this kind of behavior Workers are NOT treated equally 2 weeks vacation AFTER 1 year and not until year 5 do you get 3 weeks No sick/personal days They do NOT care about mental health They do NOT accept medical cards even tho it is legal in PA Constantly setting people up for failure They have informants on the floor who get away with everything Short breaks Management couldnt run the floor because they never have worked on the floor..they are clueless as to how the departments are run When it gets hot in the summer all Management leaves early without notice while the temperature in the hot mill while cutting liner is about 168°

Pros

-401k, best match I've ever heard of -Pay -health insurance is pretty good compared to others -room for internal advancement -can easily make 6 figures -STD benefits are very very good -bonuses can be good, but sometimes you lose them for dumb reasons

Cons

-work/life balance is non existent, if you have a family or a kid and want to bein their lives, this probably isn't the place for you -very very very low vacation amounts/time off. only 2 weeks of vacation up until 5 years. attendance policy is extremely strict, only 2 call offs every 6 months or you go on an attendance program that takes 1 year to get off of. No "true" personal days. you do get 2 personal days, but you have to schedule them 2 weeks in advance. -company continuously wants more with less. 3 people doing 7 peoples job is the norm (can't get good employees cause no one wants to work there). you will still get yelled at if something gets messed up even though you're working so many people short. -upper management is extremely egotistical! They strongly dislike people that have more knowledge than them. -upper management WILL NOT listen to floor people or their suggestions/concerns -upper management can be very sneaky (watching cameras and questioning every time someone goes somewhere, just as an example) -poor planning leading up to outages -some management cant be bothered if they're not onsite

Pros

The only pro to working here is that they pay higher than most.

Cons

The biggest con is the poor management. They expect more and more out of you, without setting you up for success. They have their favorites, and if it ain't you, don't expect a fair shake. They stress safety, but everything they introduce as safety, makes the job harder to do and less safe. Everything is labor intensive. They are too cheap to buy things that would make the job easier and safer. We could run more product, with higher quality and less strain on your body, but they refuse to put money into the process.
