Pros

Ardmore Roderick has a great reputation throughout the industry. If you ask anyone actively leading a civil engineering firm in the area about AR they will tell you all about the firm and its president. The firm has an "employee first" culture. The Presidents philosophy is to take care of its employees first so that we are equipped to take care of the client. Firm is growing rapidly and provides a ton of engineering services. This means there's opportunity to work on a variety of projects nearly anywhere in the nation if you're interested. Great benefits.

Cons

If you're on a project where AR is a sub you'll rarely see other AR employees with the exception of a few company events. That's most likely true for the entire industry.

Pros

This company supports its team members fully and makes consistent efforts to meet their needs. I have learned so much in the Utilties and Transportation sectors and feel that the work I do is valued, and compensated well.

Cons

While it is steadily growing, Ardmore Roderick is not yet a national firm with work secured in every state. There are many opportunities in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Puerto Rico, but is not active in as many states and jurisdictions that other companies are.
