Pros
Some business units and funds are impressive. However, nothing makes it worth being micromanaged, gaslit and treated like you’re not even a human being.
Cons
Managers have no oversight or training and if they’ve been around long enough they’re almost untouchable even if they have entire teams quitting on them on a regular basis. The company is poorly run from an internal infrastructure and policy perspective (to a shocking degree). There is no cohesion between business units, rather, there is immature competition and it is looked down upon to even attempt to collaborate. IR teams in particular are disastrous and ineffective and some teams are notorious for their toxic environments, insecure managers, mind-numbing work and long hours (even when uncalled for).
