Pros

-Committed to adopting the latest technologies -Until 2025, Ares stood out as one of my most trusted organizations due to its progressive and open policies -Prior to 2025, we took pride in being part of Ares and cherished our identity as Aresians

Cons

The organization undergoes structural or leadership changes at least twice a year. In 2026, there was a mass layoff, creating a sense of no job security. Every day, one or two employees are terminated without clear justification, under the pretext of organizational restructuring. Only one or two teams have access to the latest technology, while the rest lack exposure to modern technical skills.and This imbalance has created additional anxiety, as many fear layoffs due to not working with the latest tools. We work under constant fear due to unpredictable, ad hoc terminations. Overall, the workforce operates under constant stress and uncertainty, driven by unpredictable and ad hoc terminations.

Pros

Office infrastructure is adequate, and the location is convenient. Complimentary high-quality Nespresso coffee is a positive perk that contributes to the day-to-day experience.

Cons

After one year since the acquisition, it is possible to more clearly assess the impact, and there has been limited progress in defining career paths or providing visibility on internal mobility. The organization currently lacks a structured development framework, contributing to a sense of stagnation and uncertainty across teams. Compensation remains below market benchmarks for asset management firms, and benefits are outdated when compared to peers. Additionally, there is a noticeable disconnect between local practices and global standards, including unequal access to certain workplace perks (e.g., dedicated equipment and facilities), which creates a perception of inconsistency and inequity.

Culture of Frequent Silent Layoffs

Pros

Friendly and collaborative team members.

Cons

There is a culture of frequent silent layoffs. Employees are let go without being placed on formal PIPs, which can create the perception that decisions are driven by cost-cutting rather than individual performance.
