The senior managers don't take mental health seriously - I started at the company with a great manager but they left a few months after I started. Unfortunately the replacement was someone who had no interest in the wellbeing of his employees, and turned a blind eye to personal development and wellbeing of his employees.

Support from outside your own team/dept was non existant b/c if you didn't help them look good to leadership, good luck, not my problem. People were promoted when they had absolutely zero experience or knowledge of the responsibilities at hand. If you actually knew what you were talking about, that threatened the intelligence (or lack thereof) of leadership and you were blacklisted. I witnessed more than one person repeatedly become the scape goat - you could have an ironclad explanation of the right way to do things and how long it would take, and they'd cut it to a third of the time, and when things failed to live up to expectations, accountability was never placed on those that shorted the plan and drove it into the ground. I left when I saw the writing on the wall. I would work with the people of that team again in a heartbeat, but not the leadership. Sad because it could be a great place if they'd just out of their own egos.
