Pros

Great pay and benefits Seems to be a great work culture

Cons

You WILL be expected to do the work of far too many people. Basically, there are some people who have been there for a decade+ who manage and expect that newcomers will be able to understand, adjust to, and maintain the same level of work (expect 60 hours or more per week in order to meet expectations WITHOUT overtime pay) without accommodation, understanding, or reallocation. Then, if they decide that you aren't the right fit, they will make up some reason why you're not meeting expectations, be COMPLETELY unable to provide tangible examples of how and ignore any tangible example YOU provide that show you're up to snuff, then fire you once they've gone through the "proper escalation process". It's a highly toxic environment of over-expectation and lack of constructive communication that will have you pulling your hair out until you're fired/freed. Unfortunate, given some of the better things toted by the company overall, but not worth sacrificing your work-life balance and health.

Pros

Remote work, good people, and something new every day. "Upward mobility"

Cons

Corporate policy is out of touch with the requirements of this job. Every position I interact with seems over worked. The policy shifts on a daily basis Overworked Underpaid Bottom rung of the industry in real compensation for amount of work done Casino technicians are paid better to watch you work No one stays in this position long after a year

Management is bad

Pros

The PTO and benefits are nice and there are some good people that work there.

Cons

The workspace is very political and management doesn't care to do anything about it. The work/life balance is terrible. Directors are more interested in pleasing the shareholders than anything else. There have been numerous rounds of layoffs before COVID to optimize efficiency and cut costs and there have been additional layoffs due to casino slowdowns.

Thanks for your feedback. We acknowledge your concern. In the past year due to COVID we have rolled out several initiatives to focus on employee health and wellness like Restore Resilience, Wellness Fridays etc. We hope you are leveraging some of these to balance your professional and personal life. The business teams are also working on a detailed plan post COVID, we encourage you to participate and listen to the townhall recordings to know more about the business outlook.
