Pros

Salary Remote work diversity key player/leader in the industry

Cons

- high turnover - High contractor % makes it hard to retain system and process continuity within the organization - siloed organization, difficult to get critical answers to projects - Run with not fully baked system and process. Could take more take more to time preparing impacted areas for changes and more proactive in considering impacts. Apply change management before pulling trigger of change. - A project may include contractor/SME across the globe, US, Australia, India, UK , India and Mexico, which makes difficult to hold critical meeting to collaborate effectively and remain transparent across the project. Also results in poor work/balance for all stakeholders and high burnout area.

Pros

Benefits are great, something something (5 word minimum)

Cons

Nontechnical managers with absolutely no direction. My work day was from 4 AM to 6 PM to cover all time zones and work in a multinational collaborative team environment. I am technically very savvy and have numerous certifications, but the cackling socialites are the ones advancing. Stress, gossip, and high anxiety all day, every day. HR is useless. Did I mention all the nontechnical managers and principal architects? (at least the one I was working with)
