• Toxic workplace drama. • Aritzia is all about “being accountable” — there is ZERO accountability taken here. • There is definitely a hierarchy and you feel it. • At least 80% of current employees want to quit. • Managers will gossip amongst each other about other employees, sometimes based on their looks or how they dress. • Half of the things don’t get done by managers or get passed off to lower level employees simply because they wasted all their time gossiping. • The most hypocritical workplace I’ve seen. • You can at times feel forced to do things for managers or tasks that aren’t in your job description whatsoever, or have nothing to do with Aritzia. • Senior Store Manager will make comments to you based on your looks…sometimes even inappropriate remarks about your b*tt/body. • You will get pitted against other employees by management. • Constant micromanagement. • Passive aggressive comments from managers. • Management will put on a very fake attitude and demeanor anytime there are visits in the store by higher-ups. • A high ranking manager can push other managers to make lies up or embellish the truth negatively about you, simply because they don’t like you.

Working here was one of the most harmful work environments I have ever experienced. The work at hand is simple, mindless, anyone can do it - which is good because they provide absolutely no training. But the people in charge will judge you from the moment you walk in, providing little help with learning anything about the company or the industry, and spend most of their time talking poorly about people once they exit the room. They don't have the guts to confront or fire you (because the work you produce is good) but they will talk behind your back enough so that other employees feel the need to confront you about what is being spread about you, and yes these are adults. They force you out even if you're overly qualified. In a room full of middle aged people, being a young adult, I felt that I was the only mature adult. This is a poor representation of the people in the industry and no management should be allowed to act like this. It was a shame because this was my favorite company and I thought I had landed my dream job...only to discover that I couldn't have gotten out faster.
