Pros

Knowing you do impact someone's life with a carreer change. Seeing the "Ahha! I get it!" momment in their eyes!

Cons

Student run campus! Nobody wants to put those student's in their place therefore they control the classroom. Upper management lies to their faculty, upper management micromanages their staff to death, and so much more.

Pros

Co-workers are fun to work with. The job is fun when students are making their appointments for an interview. Interviews can last anywhere from 1-2 hours.

Cons

No support from management and leadership for admissions reps. There are quotas that you have to meet monthly. If they are not met 2 months in a row they will fire you. You have to enroll at least 8-10 students monthly. Can be difficult to meet quotas since there is no support from management. Certificates are too expensive compared to other colleges so students cannot afford the programs. Nursing degrees cost $85K, which is ridiculous. This college is too expensive for what they are offering. You offer students based on a dream in hopes they are ok getting into debt only to receive a certificate that will pay them 10-13 an hour. Don't know how this college will survive.

Pros

The students there were truly amazing for trying so hard to succeed.

Cons

I worked there for a very long time and was well respected by my students and a lot of the instructors. I was always a team player and willing to help out with everything that I could. I would work long hours to help them meet their goals. I was not appreciated at all. To them it was all about meeting their "numbers" every month. They NEVER appreciated the instructors. Admissions department was always getting praised about how many "lives they changed" when all they did was enroll students, some who should have never been enrolled but Arizona college still took their money, so unethical. Admissions would get these huge awards for their enrollments and faculty would get a "good job" almost like a slap in the face and so disrespectful and ungrateful. If it wasnt for the faculty working so hard in the first place the students would NEVER make it through. WE were the ones to change their lives not the admissions department. Management was a joke starting from the top all the way down to the bottom. They just simply dont care and after being there for such a long time and putting up with the mistreatment for so long thinking it was going to change and trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, things never changed. The turn over is ridiculous, they cant keep instructors there at all because of the way they are. They hire crappy instructors because that is all they can get because the reputation of the school has gotten out. Bottom line this place is a joke. DONT waste your time going to work there! In the time I was there we had 7 program directors in our department, that should tell you something.
