Amazing benefits My department was great, however across the university the environment is hit or miss
Cons
Because of the large nature of the university it's difficult to organize effective communication, avoid 3 people unknowingly working on the same project, and it's hard to make your voice heard to get things changed and accomplished. Employees went 5+ years without yearly raises, no bonuses, no other major perks unless your department head is a good leader and treats their employees to nice holiday parties at their own home.
