One of the Best places to work in AZ

Pros

They have a fantastic set of benefits, and an excellent retirement program. They also have a great paid time off system. The campus also has a lot of amenities so its easy to stay active (gym) , and you can better yourself while working there by taking classes at a reduced rate.

Cons

The university HR department is a little messy due to the size of the University. If there are issues with paychecks, or incorrect deductions for retirement its very difficult to get them to make changes

Pros

The scenery was incredible. Living and working so close to a university offered plenty of night life. You could cut your teeth on a wide variety of technology and easily shift departments so it always felt fresh Tuition waiver was akin to a $10K bonus every year if you could fit your classes in with your work scheduled (some departments would not allow this) You can find amazing mentors here Student workers are treated like surfs

Cons

No budget for anything, including the basic necessities Salary was very low The bureaucracy was horrific Student workers are treated like surfs Reporting problems can lead to your turmination

Pros

Small group of employees. Feels like a family. Birthdays are celebrated at the workplace. Lots of fun things to do.

Cons

None. This is a great place to work. Salaries are lower since it is a University job but for a part-time student employee, it is quite sufficient.
