      The best public company I've worked for, but not perfect

      Pros

      Good benefits, exciting work, amazing engineers.

      Cons

      Bad middle management ruined it for me. They're also slow to promote, have stagnant wages, and can treat engineers as interchangeable.

I would be keen to understand your experience on the lack of promotion in further detail because we certainly don't believe our engineers are interchangeable- each area within our business has a unique skill set, whilst we can learn from one another, you should be encouraged to be yourself.
