      Pros

      You get to wear cool army clothes, You can get part of your college degree paid for. No matter where you go or what you do in the Guard you will always have a home.

      Cons

      Sometimes you have to go on a deployment for months away form your family. And your gone from your family on the weekends.

      Pros

      I was a part time soldier with full time benefits to access my education at my convenience.

      Cons

      There were some times when our drill weekends would take us away from things that we wanted to do on the weekend. No big deal, but I had to write something.

      Funding can be low sometimes. The benefits are not as great as active duty.
