One of my least favorite jobs in my career
Pros
Paid ok but the tech debt was high and slow to change more than I've experienced at previous places. Biggest gripe was how delicate the politics were. Not fun to deal with even as an engineer. Wouldn't recommend. Leadership is also very hands in the weeds of the company. They micro manage and change priorities too fast. A project could be killed a week into us developing it. Priorities change but these were to fast and WAY to many priorities. They did have some processes there that were decently executed. The idea was good even if it could have been done better. One weird thing was managers and dev leads. I was a senior engineer but felt like they never defined the lines between the leads and my manager. They worked together well but seemed like we never really were told how it all works. There is a lot of smart people and cool projects but overall I wasn't happy coding there and the culture so I left.
