Pros

- The lucky few can make a lot of money here. - Free catered lunches on Friday's + massages once a month. - C-level leadership knows how to make a buck.

Cons

Arrive is a learning experience - it's where you discover that not all sales jobs are created equal. For those considering Arrive, do yourself a favor and steer clear. This is a "hustle-hard or die" company. For most people, the job is not what it is promised to be. The employee turnover is extremely high and the workplace culture is toxic. Everyone is secretly planning their exit almost as soon as they start. The position is not as advertised. This is not a "sales" role. If you have freight on the board, more than 50% of your day will be spent on soul crushing operational work. You will deliver bad news most days, and answer for carriers who do not care about you or your customer. When you do make cold calls, prospects are not happy to hear from you. Some will say this is typical of sales, but not at this level. The industry is saturated - as a general rule, companies do not want more brokers. Arrive is not differentiated from other 3PL's, of which there are 15k+, who are all calling for new business. Selling is extremely hard. Inbound lead? Never heard of it. Company politics matter most. Your popularity translates to getting account handouts from management once people quit or are fired. Cold calling is emphasized heavily even though it does not lead to meaningful new business for most reps. Sales management will claim they have the employees interests in mind, but constantly micromanage and do not trust employees. Expect messages at 7:05AM if you are not online. If you perform, they love you. If you have any challenges or are not "bought in" you will be scrutinized until you quit or are fired.
