Pros

Base + Comission and downtown Chicago setting.

Cons

Management is mostly ex Command employees who are buddies and will do anything and everything to keep anyone from becoming a manager. You will get fired if they feel you are a threat to their position. Other than that the company is a ok.... for a cheap imitation of Coyote Logistics.

Not great, not bad

Pros

Ability to make some really good money. Two offices you can fly between and work out of. Good training program. Management will give you the tools to succeed and take the time to figure out how to get you on track. No timed lunches. Free lunch Friday. Casual work environment! You'll laugh a lot here, when you're not crying. First year you won't make much, but by the second year you could be closing in on 6 figures, if you work hard, get lucky, and have a clutch manager.

Cons

Job is kind of vague, coming in. You have no idea you've signed up to be dealing with belligerent truck drivers whilst snickering at the idea that you've just made a quick $100 from their suffering. Mgmt can get extremely micromanagey when they are receiving a lot of top-down pressure. Going outside to get some air is frowned upon, they want you staring at a screen and on the phone for 10 hours straight, because when you make money, the company makes money. And they're just waiting on it to balloon, balloon, balloon, so the stockholders in the C suite and upper management can cash in. Expect to be called and texted by your manager if you're gone for 30 minutes to lunch, and expect to be called by your clients @ 2am if there's an issue. Many burn out around the 18 month mark. The stress and pressure to be constantly available carries on into your weekends and evenings, and no amount of commission is worth peace of mind. Many people were addicted to checking their phones for calls and emails, because that's how the job programs you.
