Pros

Big company that has reasonable benefits and pay. If you want a job to hide out in, chances are you can find a job that you can skate if that is your goal.

Cons

Everyone is looking out for themselves and for their own promotions. The customer is not on the radar and is considered to be a pain. Wake up, who really gives you your pay check? Trying to get anything done is painful. Too many data basis that do not sync with each other, too many repetitive steps that take time away from other tasks, and unreasonable goals that are given late (and can change at anytime) with no rhyme or reason and work against those who are on your team. Big turnover. HR is there to for management's benefit, not the employee.

Thank you for sharing your concerns! It sounds like the core problem is related to working through a large amount of processes and as a result, you've noticed some of the human element is lost. Even though you are no longer with the company, we appreciate you looking out for the customer, and as we move forward we will continue to hire those that share a similar mindset to yourself.

Pros

Flexibility and being in front of customers, rather than sitting at a desk all day. Benefits are good. The people are good to work with.

Cons

Very stressful., Treated as a number and the only thing matters is marketshare and making the stockholders month.

Pros

I interned with Arrow for two years be joining the company full time. I find that it is a good place to learn about the company and about corporate America in general.

Cons

Training is seriously lacking at Arrow. They are fond of throwing people into the fire and generally leave the training to your coworkers. This can work out okay but in my instance it did not. My coworkers were swamped with their own work and had little time to train me properly. I wasn't supplied appropriate training materials and there was a lot of general day-to-day information about my position that i wasn't told to me till a month before I left. ' There are not many opportunities to move up in the company. Alot of individuals are stuck moving horizontally from position-to-position with slightly better or worse pay but never a true pay increase.
