Pros

Nice office building, covered parking

Cons

Over the past 10 years of employment, I’ve seen a lot of turmoil and turnover. Not exactly sure why they can’t seem to get decent management, but I think that’s where the problems lie. Turnover is unbelievable, and it’s sad. The company no longer does any type of team building or corporate events, and while they did have an employee recognition program a few years back, I’ve seen or heard nothing about it lately.

Pros

The people. They are so dedicated to doing a great job - and despite some bad times, we worked together to stay on top. Challenges were thrown at us in every direction but the team stayed strong - a family. Such a family that when 1 round of layoffs happened years ago - people were so upset they quit themselves, or at least made management announce the names of the people who worked so hard for them yet were told not to come back.

Cons

Arrow doesn't care about it's employees. Don't apply. If you're thinking of applying, there is better employers out there.

Pros

PTO is good for full time employees.

Cons

Etics are questinable. Managers speak like politician's. You are expected to know how the manager would handle an account, when management changes their mind daily. You must find a way to ship product regardless of the customers creditworthiness. Thus credit lines are increased for no reason other than to ship. Meanwhile management expects all accounts to be collected AT or BEFORE terms. Ship everything And have a percent current over 93%. Goals are unachievable, work load is beyond 40 hrs /week, but management does not allow overtime. At best Management is either clueless or simply inept. Income smoothing is a normal process. Management thrives on double talk and playing the hero to the GMs. They will tell you to delay shipping, knowing that Everything will ship at 5 and if sales calls they will ship the product. The lack of ability to hold a customer accountable has gone far that i have sales reps stating to hold a customer and we ship. You are a number. Corp does not care about the individual, we have a blizzard, 20 inches, and the company will not close. No holiday parties. No team events. Temps are training temps. Temps will not be hired full time for at least 12 months, I've seen longer.
