A promising company driven into the ground

Pros

When I started at this company, it was full of passionate colleagues and leaders who really believed in the product they were creating and wanted to change the payments industry for hospitality. Obviously, not all grand visions can come to fruition, but I did have many opportunities to learn, grow, and transition into new roles before Loren took over as CEO. Despite what it has become, I personally feel grateful for my time at Arryved for the professional development and future opportunities it granted me.

Cons

All pros being stated, things took a turn for the worse when management changed and the mercenary approach to running the company has driven it into the ground. The effective leaders were pushed out or left voluntarily; the extremely homogenous individuals left in their stead do not have the employees' or customers' best interest in mind. Energy is spent on building things customers don't want and we went years without addressing basic customer requests or releasing a new feature or product. The culture soured completely by the time I left, amidst an exodus of employees who weren't white men. It genuinely saddens me to see what this company has become, but I feel worse for the people still trapped working here.

Don't Worry Everything Is Fine!

Pros

Flip flopping on the product every other week and not actually producing anything makes it so we don't need to train customers on new features. Never getting a raise humbles you- it's empowering knowing hard work is paying out bonuses for execs when your friends are laid off in masses. Three times in a year now? Record turnover and tragically low employee engagement scores aren't real, according to leadership. Super reassuring! Executive leadership don't know what they're doing; but the CEO and CFO got where they're at from having rich friends and family so you know you're in good hands. Not being able to compete against any other POS gives good perspective on how not to run a company when everything goes under. Letting all the women and diverse employees go means we think alike now.

Cons

Hmm can't think of any.

Used to be Amazing

Pros

The only positive to working at Arryved in its current state are the front line employees that work together side by side on a daily basis.

Cons

The CEO and new CFO/COO have ruined the company. What once was an amazing place to work is no longer that. They lie, manipulate, gaslight, and are only worried about appearances and money. The employees health, happiness and well being are no longer a consideration at Arryved.
