At AoPS, we are committed to ensuring that our workplace is free of harassment and discrimination, and that all of our employees feel welcome and supported. We are proud to have women serving on our executive team and in director-level positions at both our headquarters and Academy campuses.

Pros

We write and teach the absolute best in Math curricula The people writing our textbooks and teaching our courses care deeply about students, as does our CEO

Cons

The HQ environment is something out of the Twilight Zone. Nearly half of the Managers, Directors, and VPs have little or no work experience outside AoPS, so even simple, standard work anywhere else is a convoluted one-off of outdated guesses here. We brought in a few experienced outsiders the past few years and it seemed to be on a path to introducing standard business methods, modern applications and operations. But the old guard ran protected its legacy processes and ran off or beat down anyone who brought in new ideas.
