If that dynamic is misaligned, the company’s broader values may not consistently show up in practice • I faced vague and shifting expectations, contradictory feedback, and limited support. Even when I proactively sought clarity, applied feedback, and worked to contribute thoughtfully • The team structure led to siloed efforts, limited peer collaboration, and recurring bottlenecks. Psychological safety was inconsistent, which made it harder to ask questions or contribute openly • Although the company genuinely cares about its customers, collaboration between engineering, product, and design is still maturing • The codebase blends modern frameworks with legacy patterns. While the need for improvement is acknowledged, the pressure to ship features often outweighed progress on tech debt or developer experience
