Pros

Strong commitment to training and research initiatives. An overall high level of technical competence is expected. Profit sharing is global.

Cons

Due to company structure, there is a ceiling on wages and ownership. Global skills leaders are not directly linked to commercial ownership of disciplines.

Pros

One of the best organisations to ply your trade. Innovative approach to solving real world problems is always encouraged: Sir Ove Arup's inspiring key speech is very much alive there.

Cons

It's a large organisation and hence there's a red tape which sometimes represents are a time gap in processing of nontechnical matters.
