      Pros

      - Great mobility & travel opportunities - high profile projects and good reputation - technically strong engineers - good place to learn for young engineers

      Cons

      - not-so-wise financial management on certain projects - bureaucracy is unavoidable for company this size - could be chauvinistic and certain departments (if not all) may discriminate against female engineer once they get pregnant, have seen tons of discouraged/disillusioned female engineers - "build a better world" is a beautiful slogan but industry and management is stubborn and slow to change.

      Pros

      Good projects, good exposure to high level clients, some working flexibility. Most staff are friendly and willing to help.

      Cons

      The company really doesn't reward well for good work. Promotions and pay rises are very slow - you have to really fight for recognition of a job well done. Very little incentive to put in the intense working hours. Also, the company doesn't really practice what they preach in terms of a 'good working environment'. While there is some form of flexible working, it isn't really practiced or encouraged. The politics are as bad as other big firms - you get rewarded if you shout loud enough and curry favour with the directors, not if you do great work.
