Pros

High profile projects. Talented people friendly people for the most part and good benefits.

Cons

Lack of support from upper management. Upper management has no clue what lower staff does nor do they seem to care. No real guidance from supervisor.

Past their prime

Pros

Adequate benefits, acceptable training (if you are in the "in-crowd)

Cons

The good guys have either left on their own accord or been pushed out. Marketing outstrips their ability to perform. The inertia of past success carries the firm by reputation into cool projects. Pay is sub-standard but overhead is high. Arup suffers from poor leadership in the US. Seems the Brits are still trying to colonize the engineering community with outdated ethos.
