Pros

Compensation was decent. Great coworkers.

Cons

Upper and Mid level management are horrid. Corporate systems like IT and HR are nonexistent. Extremely high turnover- few people make it two years except the veteran operators. Private equity ownership created a toxic "race to the bottom" culture. Absolutely no career mobility. Very unsafe working conditions with hazardous chemical leaks daily (Arsenic, Chromic Acid, etc.)

Arxada is now separated from Lonza group and is focusing on it's core chemicals business. Arxada will be expanding operations through hiring, and mergers and acquisitions. *Culture is brand new and developing *Growth is coming *The X is whatever you desire

Cons

During the separation "weak handed" Talent was lost *Arxada has lost a lot of talent during the separation *We're not closing on our M&A goals

full time, with decant benefits,

the zinc business is dying, they shut down the only chlorinator process in the waster hemisphere permanently. senior management is sub-par, will lie right to your face. an explosion and also 2 rounds of layoffs this year, 17 people in total. (2023) they also have more engineers and pointless positions than actual workers making product. the days of this place being a great employer, a standout employer like kodak, and zerox are long gone.
