The people at the local facilities are really good people to work with.

Cons

Ash Grove hired the CEO that drove Hostess, Inc. into bankrupcy. Makes you wonder what the long-term plans are for Ash Grove ??? The company is changing quickly and most of it is geared toward making it a less-human place to work. Corporate office is EXTREMELY disfunctional.

I work with a lot of good guys that will help you out however they can. Work is meaningful and company is American owned since its start in the late 1800's.

Company truly cares about all their employees. Privately held company that is been in one family for 125 years. This really shows in their management style as they make every employee feel crucial to the companies success. Amazing benefits.

Cons

Cement manufacturing is a 24hr operation so you can be expected to work anytime of day anytime of the year. Work/Life balance can be a struggle at times.
