Pros

I worked with a good crew who kept things fun and we worked well together

Cons

Safety was mentioned occasionally in meetings but never was a concern in the foundry. Chemical leaks were often left exposed for long periods of time. Repairs to machines were often cheap and shoddy. Proper ventilation was never implemented. We often looked like coal miners when we left at the end of our shift.

Pros

Pay is above average for area.

Cons

Company has been going backwards for the last 15 years. No job security. There is a union but don't waste your money joining, they do nothing for you. They allowed the company to lay off senior workers . Management is terrible , they randomly usher good workers out the door while they remain in their jobs and are the reason the company is failing. They don't invest in new machines. No job security.
