Pros
There are a lot of great people you work with, the culture is generally positive, there can be opportunities for travel to fun locations, but not too much travel. Opportunities for transferring within departments. There haven't been any general layoffs in my nine years at the company
Cons
Previous leadership let the company hollow out such that there are very few senior engineers left, most left to make more at consulting firms. Emerson has changed it's mind on ownership three times in the last five years. You could make better money at other companies.
