Pros

A remote environment and lots of independent work depending on your manager/team

Cons

The agency can be very passive when it comes to deadlines. The brands will push all these really tight deadlines, associates do all the work to met those deadlines and because of something on the brand's end (late to content review, late to ship out products, etc...) its pushes the whole campaign back. I think the agency needs to do a better job at holding the clients accountable when it comes to deadlines and when it comes to influencer budgets. Instead of just saying yes to everything the client askes for, the campaign managers need to be more realistic with them about the tasks that are within the associate scope as well as they type of influencers we can contract for them based on their budgets. The CEO also has a very we "live to serve our clients" type of attitude and comes off very aloof. Also not sure if the company still uses GAs who help on campaigns, but they need to align their training with how they train the associates. The amount of times I've had to go back and fix the work of GAs who are supposed to be helping is ridiculous. Lastly, the agency boasts about how you can do everything on the platform but on the agency side a majority of work happens off platform on google sheets.

Pros

Good tech infra, learning opportunities for folks who want it. Great Benefits, on par with the best tech companies in India.

Cons

Work life balance, too much hierarchy in place for such a small team. There are some incompetent senior engineers in the team.

Pros

By working at Aspire, you're able to get a large amount of experience and become well-rounded across the influencer landscape quickly. However, the cons heavily outweigh the pros.

Cons

- Leadership is horrible. The majority do not have influencer experience and, consequently, are very insecure. Because of this, most work has to be done their way or the highway, which leads to a very toxic culture. - On top of that, if you asked them to give you a walkthrough of the platform, most of them wouldn't be able to. How can you lead a team and sell in business, without knowing the product you're selling/working off of? - As other reviews have mentioned, agency life requires you to work in a fast-paced environment and longer hours than a typical 9-5. However, this experience is like what you'd expect, but magnified to a point where the turnover is so high that six months from now, the team will look completely different. Everyone who was there when I started is now gone, except one or two people. - Bonuses used to be shared across the entire team (associates, managers, directors). That leadership was removed and replaced with a new leadership team that restructured the bonuses to only go to leadership, and everyone else below was removed from receiving any portion. - Benefits were removed year-over-year. There used to be mental health days until the CEO nixed them and mentioned that a profitable company will be better for everyone's mental health. - Pay is heavily below the industry average. Unless you're really desperate to get experience, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. - Team retreats have also been nixed. The last one was in 2022.
