Pros

Senior leadership is excellent at setting objectives and communicating that to branch staff. By virtue of the Branch Manager Advisory Team, senior retail leadership was in tune with the branches. There was a clear understanding between them of how important engagement and recognition were.

Cons

District leadership does not mirror the message from above, instead they had the complete inability or unwillingness to nurture or create a culture of recognition or engagement. Senior leadership tolerated failing colleague engagement scores year after year. Every year those scores are terrible, every year district leadership makes a big show of addressing it (for about a month) then it is right back to the same old story...until next year when the colleague engagement surveys come back...a terrible cycle perpetuated by failed leadership.

Pros

Pay is decent and the job has ok benefits

Cons

Hours are long, work stresses meeting goals. Upward mobility is based on likeability instead of skill. I had a terrible experience with them bringing in a manager who displayed blatant racist remarks and comments. To know that instead of him being held accountable, he was transferred to a different branch completely dismisses secretly and condone his act.

Pros

cant really think of any, they basically got rid of the incentive program or made it ridiculously hard to attain, to the point where it is essentially gone.

Cons

Never fully staffed, in my entire time there i worked with a full staff about 5 months total. total joke. upper mgmt is more focused on discipline over training to get better, very fire and brimstone approach to employees. Zero percent of the time does your manager have your back when customers complain or have issues and unless you're friends with the market or district leaders, good luck sticking around. many times i left here and just had to sit in the car and try to not cry
