Pros

Benefits are great! Health insurance is Blue Cross Blue Shield Anthem Lumenos and very cheap. Hours are good because the branches in the loop are only open M-F during business hours, unlike outlying branches that are open later and on Saturdays. The staff is young and upbeat, including management; management is very approachable.

Cons

Pay is not that great. They offer incentives to earn "incentive" money, however, you have to reach a sales quota first and that is a hard goal to reach. The office environment is also very slow paced and quiet. The only excitement in the office is when there are a lot of customers needing assistance.

Pros

Company seems to promote from within, but to the highest level of someone's incompetence. Vacation policy and sick time policy very competitive once you reach 3 years of service. As of July '09, still offer all employees 401(k) and company paid pension plan.

Cons

Environment of micro-management throughout the chain of command. Company has grown too fast, outgrown systems and processes Tries to act like they are a large national bank On the retail side, sales goals are comparable to larger banks with larger market share, but products are not competitive. Lack of support from marketing and product development team. Too many manual processes, manual reports to compose, email, and manage to.
