Promotions are driven by politicking and conformity rather than core competencies or performance, causing senior managers to flounder and team leaders to engage in psychological warfare against those who dissent. • Managerial Misconduct & Credit Theft: Middle managers often sabotage or set up employees for failure while simultaneously taking shared or sole credit for the individual work of ICs.
